We offer you various printing processes because we always want to achieve the best result for your print motif.
‘Don't worry if your print data isn't perfectly prepared - we'll take care of that for you!’
In most cases, it is not necessary for you to have special programmes or ready-made print files. Simply send us the data you have and tell us your ideas, such as whether your motif should be on the front or back of the mug. Our team will use this to create a professional stand sketch that is precisely tailored to the printing. We will only start printing your reusable cups or plastic glasses once you have given your approval and all requirements have been fully harmonised. This is how we ensure that you get exactly the result you want.
Data & file formats: Vectorised data as pdf, eps or ai.
The printing processes we offer only make economic sense from 1000 pieces upwards (for reusable cups), because higher costs are incurred, especially for the set-up. But then they offer you clear advantages, such as printing in true colours, high durability of the print, high print quality and much more.
Screen printing and letterset printing are used for reusable cups. Pad printing is available for plastic glasses.
Letterset printing and screen printing are both excellent printing processes, each with their own strengths. Letterset printing is particularly suitable for intricate designs or multi-coloured motifs. Screen printing, on the other hand, is particularly suitable for bold designs. Both processes are generally suitable for all-round printing, although screen printing always leaves a small gap (although this is sometimes desirable so that the fill level of the drink can still be recognised from the outside). So you can't say that one printing process is better than the other. Rather, both processes have their advantages, which are particularly suitable depending on the application.
Example of all-round printing: Reusable cup A 0.10 litre PP frosted, ‘SHOT’
Screen printing (SD) all round, max. 1 colour, max. print area 42 x 143 mm (hxl)
Letter set printing (LS) all round, max. 4 colours, max. print area 50 x 154 mm (hxl)
In letterset printing, a length of 154 mm is possible for this cup, i.e. all round without a gap (slightly overlapping), while in screen printing a length of 143 mm is possible - leaving a gap of approx. 1 cm.
The choice of printing method therefore depends primarily on your requirements. If you want a filigree, multi-coloured design on a smooth surface, letterset printing is ideal.Screen printing is the perfect choice for long-lasting, colour-intensive prints on various materials and surfaces.
Plastic glasses often have curved, irregular or difficult to access surfaces. The flexible silicone pad of pad printing can adapt perfectly to these shapes, which other printing processes such as screen printing or letterset printing cannot achieve. Pad printing works with comparatively little pressure on the material, which is particularly advantageous for thin-walled or sensitive plastic glasses. This ensures that neither the shape nor the stability of the glass is affected.
Each process offers high-quality realisation - the choice depends on the requirements of your design and the desired effect.
And yet the following still applies: the right process for you should be selected individually for your print motif and your requirements.
The very different shapes of the individual products require the use of different printing processes. Pad printing is available for plastic glasses. Reusable cups can be printed using different processes: The motif / print image to be printed plays a key role here, primarily the number of colours to be printed. The print run and - as a result - the price also play a role in selecting the right printing process for you.
Ideally, you should already have a print file or the motifs/logos to be printed. Send this to us together with your enquiry so that we can provide you with a meaningful quote.

Yes, we print in so-called true colours!
We use clearly defined colour guides such as Pantone or HKS to ensure optimum colour accuracy. This means that your desired colours are implemented precisely and true to colour, without the deviations that can sometimes occur with CMYK printing systems. For colourful motifs, it generally makes no difference whether the print is in Pantone, HKS or CMYK. However, if you have a company logo in HKS 13 and HKS 97, for example, we can achieve a precise result and avoid colour deviations by printing in these true colours.
Even complex designs or special colour requests can be realised without any problems in the vast majority of cases. If there are any special challenges, we will advise you individually in order to achieve the best possible result for your motif.

Cup printing is a very complex subject: the choice of printing process depends heavily on the motif. Send us your motif or a specific request for your cup printing and we will tell you how we can realise it for you. Of course, you are welcome to let us know which printing process you are interested in. However, we consider it essential that we scrutinise your motif or your request and select the optimum printing process for you.
